We believe every memorable adventure begins with a great place to base yourself.
One that's warm, welcoming and full of Scottish charm.
Highland Basecamp has 12 private en-suite bunk rooms and a communal decking area. Our fully equipped self catering kitchen and spacious lounge are open - ready for you to relax in after a day exploring the hills or waters.
All our rooms are warm & cozy with direct outdoor access. This means you can come and go as you please. We operate self check in & out making the whole process nice and simple.

Where are we?
Highland Basecamp is located in the small village of Lochaline on the Sound of Mull. We're ideally situated for exploring Mull & the entire West Highland Peninsula.
Lochaline is in one of the most remote areas of the Highlands. Perfect for getting away from it all and losing yourself in nature.
We are ideally based for diving, hiking, cycling, kayaking or any outdoor adventures throughout the year.
Just over an hour driving from Fort William and a stone's throw away from the Isle of Mull by ferry — we're remote but well connected.

We offer air & nitrox on site at Highland Basecamp for all sorts of diving.
